Overview

21st Century schools rely on accountability and documented student achievement.  The Educational Services department is responsible for directing the administration of and reporting the results for several state and local tests.  Among the required state tests are the State Testing and Reporting program (STAR) and the California Standards Test (CST) in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science for grades 2 – 11, a nationally normed standardized test.  Student results are reported to parents each year.  In addition the department conducts state Physical Fitness Testing, the California English Language Development Test (CELDT), and the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE).   (more...)
