December 2016

As you well know, in 2013-2014 the State of California adopted a new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).

The District is required to develop a three-year Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) outlining our goals, how we will utilize funding to serve specific segments of our student population, and how we will measure our progress in achieving our performance targets.

This new funding system includes annual reporting requirements to ensure the State that we are using our funding effectively and that it is aimed at serving the students for which it was intended.

Although we’ve developed our LCAP (we are in year 4 of this now), it’s important that we review the plan and share updates with our community and solicit your involvement in this process. We highly encourage our parents and guardians to participate in the LCAP Stakeholder meetings. More information, including dates and times of these meetings, can be found here.

We truly value your feedback and encourage you to be a part of this process.
