South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD)
is home to a highly regarded STEM program, a pioneering, high school ethnic studies program, four California Distinguished Schools, and more than 8,000 students in elementary, middle, and high school.
 
A leader in the green schools movement, SSFUSD helps students excel by providing meaningful learning experiences that encourage them to explore the world and embrace different ideas. The district has served families in Daly City, South San Francisco, and San Bruno since 1913.

Salary

Teacher compensation is competitive with other school districts in the area, ranging from $59,784 to $111,372.

Benefits

SSFUSD features a full benefit package that covers the cost of employee life insurance and a family dental (Delta) and vision plan (VSP).
 
Employees who choose a Kaiser Permanente HMO plan pay no out-of-pocket insurance costs.
