Students must be enrolled in SSFUSD schools during the current school year for all summer programs.

Big Lift Summer School supports the development of academic and social skills in young scholars. Students work on projects that integrate reading, art, and science and participate in mindfulness experiences and fun and games. Los Cerritos & Spruce

Elevate Computer Science Institute (CSI)
 
Grades: Rising
7-8 graders
A project-based, computer science (CS) curriculum aligned with CS standards, Elevate CSI provides students with a holistic view of computer systems across hardware and software. The curriculum encourages creativity and personalization of projects and promotes learning by doing, trial and error, and collaboration.

Through both teacher-led or Edgenuity online learning models, high school students in need of credit recovery may enroll in a variety of language arts, math, history, health, and physical education courses this summer.
