• To access the San Mateo Portal, you must create an account or reset your password using your SSFUSD email and personal information exactly as recorded in ERP (case-sensitive). Follow the step-by-step instructions in the attached guide for creating your account or resetting your password.

You can access your current and past pay stubs, W-2s, sick and vacation leave balances, and health and welfare information through the ESCAPE portal.

If you are injured at work, immediately notify your supervisor and HR. HR will provide the forms needed to file your claim through our insurance carrier, Intercare.

Once your injury has been reported to your supervisor and HR, you may seek medical care at Concentra or Kaiser Occupational Health.

Nimble is SSFUSD’s applicant tracking system. It allows prospective employees to search for and apply to open positions and serves as the platform where the District posts new job opportunities. Internally, Nimble is used to review applications, manage candidate information, and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

All open positions are listed on the Nimble job board. Click the job title and select the green “Apply” button to submit your application.

Open positions can also be viewed on EdJoin, but applications must be submitted through Nimble.

Yes, SSFUSD has a partnership with Rivet School to make earning your bachelor’s degree more affordable. Rivet’s program is online, with classes that can fit around your work schedule, allowing you to earn while you learn.

To be eligible, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSET).

Yes, SSFUSD has two partnerships to help you earn your teaching credential:

TeachStart: Gain work experience as a substitute teacher while completing coursework for your teaching credential, allowing you to earn while you learn.
Alder Graduate School of Education: A one-year Teacher Residency program where you can earn your master’s degree while completing your teaching credential. Teacher Residents also receive a living stipend.

A salary column is based on your education or experience level. A salary step is based on how many years you’ve worked. Your column and step together determine your pay.

SSFUSD adheres to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Transcript Guidance (https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/transcripts)

• Please request that official electronic transcripts be sent directly from the university or college to transcripts@ssfusd.org. If electronic transcripts are not available, request a physical copy to be mailed to the SSFUSD District Office.
• Please note: The following are considered unofficial transcripts:
  • Paper transcripts that have been opened by the employee (seal broken)
  • Electronic transcripts emailed by the employee to HR

You will receive an email from HR confirming that your transcript has been received. Credits applied this school year: Only transcripts received before the October deadline can be applied to this school year. Transcripts received after the deadline: Credits will be applied the following school year (up to 15 credits maximum). You will receive a notification with your updated credit total, any salary advancement, and the effective date.
