Required Documents

The enrollment process includes several steps and requires specific documents. To complete registration, all required documents must be submitted to your student’s school

Proof of Address

One of the following:

Current PG&E utility bill (in parent/guardian name)
Approved Residency Affidavit (completed at the District Office)

Residency Affidavit (English)

Residency Affidavit (Spanish)

SSFUSD-approved Inter-District Transfer Letter (for non-residents only)

Note: Students must physically live with a parent/guardian within district boundaries. Property ownership alone does not establish residency.

How to Submit Documents

You can submit documents in two ways:

Schedule an appointment with your school

Important Information

Kindergarten, TK, and Preschool

Kindergarten: Must turn 5 by September 1, 2026
Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Must turn 4 by September 1, 2026
TK placement is a separate process that is completed before registration

If you’d like your student to attend a school other than your assigned school:

Complete registration first
Apply for Open Enrollment during the request period
(February 1 – April 15)
