Certificated Salaries

To apply to become a substitute teacher in our district, please fill out the Substitute Application on EDJOIN.  Please submit all required attachments with your application.  Once you have submitted, it will be sent to the Human Resources Department for review.  NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONTACTED.

 

Current Daily Rates for Substitutes is as follows effective Jan. 4, 2016

Daily Substitute Rate		$160
Long Term Sub Rate		$200 (20 days or more)

IF YOU HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA TEACHING CREDENTIAL

• Copy of Credential
• Official College Transcripts
• Fingerprints for the District
• Valid Driver’s License
• Social Security Card
• Current TB Test Results
• Copy of CBEST Test Results
• District Packet **

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TEACHING CREDENTIAL

• 30 Day Emergency Teaching Permit (go to www.ctc.ca.gov to apply)
• CBEST Test Results
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
• Copy of CBEST Test Results
• Original BA Diploma (or higher)
• Official College Transcripts
• Fingerprints for the District
• Valid Driver’s License
• Social Security Card
• Current TB Test Results
• District Packet **

** Before your fingerprint appointment you can pick up the District Hire Packet at the District Office

 

Current substitute teachers can logon to our online system, AESOP. Each substitute will get their own login and pin to view job openings. www.frontlinek12.com/aesop
