Educational Technology
SSFUSD believes that technology is an integral part of teaching and learning as we develop students for their future endeavors in school and beyond. Starting in the 2020-21 school year, SSFUSD has supported a 1:1 program where every student has an iPad (grades TK - 2) or Chromebook (grades 3-12) for their educational use.
The SSFUSD educational technology department oversees the set up and use of our many different online tools and programs for teaching and learning.
The staff also maintains a Knowledge Base with information for students and families about how to use our various online tools and programs as well as a status page for checking service outages and known issues.
Curriculum Technology Integrators
Curriculum technology integrators (CTIs) play an important role in advancing the use of technology at the school site, in the classroom, and with teachers. CTIs receive training throughout the year from the IT and EdTech departments.
