Portrait of a Graduate

Breathing Life into the Portrait of a Graduate

SSFUSD has formed a guiding coalition comprised of school and district leaders to bring the district's new portrait of a graduate to life.

During its first meeting on February 28, 2024, coalition members began brainstorming different approaches related to communicating the portrait of a graduate and helping SSFUSD's community of students, families, and employees understand and internalize it.

Given the approval of the district's new strategic plan, SSFUSD will begin examining its budget in order to find ways to readjust, reduce, and reallocate resources accordingly.

Members also discussed how to initiate instructional practices in the classrooms and throughout the district to reinforce the skills and abilities outlined in the new portrait of a graduate

Keeping the community informed of the coalition's progress and working with various partners to secure their support to effectively launch the implementation of the plan's initiatives will be key.
