Work Experience Education is on-the-job training which allows students to learn as they earn. The course emphasizes supervised work with pay for school credit. It is the combined effort of school and community enabling students to discover, through the workplace, their career interests and aptitudes. To be eligible, students must be in their junior or senior year and at least sixteen years old. Students can earn five or ten credits based upon the number of hours employed, completion of work related instruction, the presentation of weekly time cards, and attendance at weekly student-teacher meetings.
