Registration and Enrollment
K-12 Registration for NEW students begins February 28

All Students must register at the local schools that serve their area of residence.
If you wish to transfer your child to another school, please see www.ssfusd.org/transfers for transfer information.
K-12 Students continuing in the District do not need to re-register
Parents of continuing students will complete the
Annual Enrollment Update launching on April 19, 2022
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS (K-12)
1. Find your School of Residence:
New students must register with their school of residence. Find the school that serves your area of residence with the School Locator or check the Street Directory
2. Verify Residence / Gather Documents
Get ready to start your online registration by collecting these Required Documents to upload during the online registration process.
Parents who do not have a PG&E bill in their name can verify their residence by completing a Residency Affidavit Form at the District office. Once you receive your approved copy, upload it in your online registration application or bring it to the school office.

Kindergarten
Children who will be 5 years of age by September 1, 2022, are eligible for kindergarten. For children turning 5 years old after September 1, please see the instructions for Transitional Kindergarten Program (below).
Kindergarten registration for the 2022-2023 school year starts February 28, 2022 and will continue through May 27, 2022. We strongly encourage all registration items to be completed before the end of May in order to secure your student's placement. Schools will be closed during the summer and will reopen for late registration in early August. See registration instructions for grades K-12 above.
Currently attending TK at an SSFUSD school? You will register as a NEW student for Kindergarten - see instructions above.

Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program. This program is optional and parents are not required to enroll.
1. Check birthdate eligibility
Children born between September 2, 2017 and February 2, 2018 are eligible for the Transitional Kindergarten Program in the 2022-2023 school year.
2. Submit an application
- The application for 2022-23 is now available: TK Application
- Applications can be submitted in person to the District Office or downloaded and submitted as a PDF email attachment to Jessen Langley - jlangley@ssfusd.org
- Please no photos of applications or faxes accepted
3. Receive your School Assignment
The first round of assignment letters will be mailed to the home address in the spring
